Dr. David Ramsay joined Digestive Health Specialists in 2012 after working in the Washington, D.C. area. He graduated with high honors from Wake Forest University and obtained his medical degree from East Carolina University where he served as student council president. He completed his residency and gastroenterology fellowship at George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. where he served as the resident representative to the hospital’s executive committee. His clinical interests include reflux disease and esophageal disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, liver disease, and colorectal cancer prevention.
Dr. Ramsay serves on the national Board of Directors for the Digestive Health Physician Association. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, and is Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
