About Nicholas A. Netherland, MD
Dr. Netherland’s focused experience in all areas of digestive health provides our practice and his patients with an experience that can be counted on. Dr. Netherland was born in Birmingham, Alabama, and grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and his MD degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he also completed his Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
His clinical interests include Celiac Disease, general Gastroenterology, and Colon Cancer Prevention.
