Digestive Health Specialists, PA is happy to announce that they have brought pathology in-house. The Digestive Health Specialists Pathology Laboratory is staffed by our Board-Certified Pathologist, Dr. Jerald Winter, and certified histologists who specialize in digestive diseases and their respective organs, such as the esophagus, stomach, and colon.

What is pathology?

It is the study and diagnosis of disease by examining human tissue, organs, and body fluid. When a biopsy is done or a polyp is removed, these go to our pathology laboratory for examination and diagnosis.
