About Marcum Gillis, MD

Dr. Gillis joined Digestive Health Specialists in July of 2014. He is from Charlotte, NC but has spent the last 10 years in the Winston Salem area. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Wake Forest University and also received his Doctorate of Medicine at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Wake Forest University Medical Center as well as his fellowship in Gastroenterology. His clinical interests include IBD, hepatobiliary disease, and GI motility disorders in addition to colon cancer prevention.
