Todd Pittman, CMPE, is the Chief Executive Officer of Digestive Health Specialists and a board-certified member of the American College of Practice Executives. Todd is a graduate of Appalachian State University and holds a BSBA with a concentration in Healthcare Management.
Over the past 26 years, Todd has held positions in private primary care and specialty practices, hospital-owned specialty practices, hospital administration, corporate facility management, and healthcare consulting. Todd has also held numerous leadership positions in the state and local MGMA chapters, serving as President of the state association and 3 local chapters. Todd served as the NCMGMA Conference Chair for over 10 years, NC Chair of the Tri-State Conference (NC, SC & GA) over an 11-year period, and Chair of the Joint Conference with the NC Medical Society. Todd received the NCMGMA President’s Award in 2014 and the NCMGMA Volunteer of the Year award in 2017. Additionally, he has served nationally on the MGMA Annual Conference Committee and as a State Liaison for MGMA.
Todd is passionate about healthcare and believes the four pillars medical practices should focus on are the providers, staff, patients, and referring providers. “As healthcare workers, we all serve a purpose to provide quality value-based care in the safest environment that yields the best patient, physician, and staff satisfaction.”
On a personal note, Todd has been married for 10 years. He has a stepdaughter who is a freshman at Wake Forest University and is a member of the WFU Women’s Soccer Team.
