We’ve Joined the Pledge:

Reaching 80% Screened for Colorectal Cancer by 2018

National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable members have joined together to create the shared goal of reaching 80 percent screened for colorectal cancer by 2018. We hope to help in the success of this goal and have joined the efforts, along with many other organization, by signing the pledge. The pledge represents a commitment to work toward increasing the number of people screened for colorectal cancer and eliminating colorectal cancer as a major public health problem.

A few components of the pledge state that we will:

• Stand united in the belief that we can eliminate colorectal cancer as a major public health problem
• Utilize effective screening technologies and will work towards delivering the continuum of care in a more organized fashion
• Work to empower communities, patients, providers, community health centers and health systems to embrace partnerships needed to deliver coordinated, quality colorectal cancer screenings and follow up care

We are very excited about this movement and are honored to be a part of it.
Together we can win the fight against colon cancer.
